Regenurlaub in der Auvergne und Dordogne

Sonntags ging die Reise vom "Fränkischen" mit vielen Stau's in das Elsaß - genauer nach Soufflenheim.
Hier wurde ein neuer Stellplatz angelegt, der im Moment noch kostenfrei ist. Die Vorrichtung ist aber schon geschaffen, um eine Schranke anzubauen.

Morgens ging es weiter nach Saverne.
Hierzu eine kleine Story: Das Abendessen kam gerade vom Grill, als ein junger Mann ankam und fragte, wie denn der Automat für die Schranke zu bedienen sei.
Da wir ja auch den Einlaß gefunden hatten, ging ich mit ihm, um zu zeigen wie es funktioniert.
Doch oh Schreck. Das Touchdisplay reagierte nicht mehr.
Über eine angebrachte Telefonnummer wurde der Notdienst gerufen (wir hätten auch nicht hinausfahren können).
Ein junger Mann kam mit dem Rad an und machte einige Versuche - aber das Panel war definitiv defekt.
Er meine lapidar, wenn eine Ausfahrt gewünscht wäre, wir ihn anrufen sollten.
Dies bekam der neben uns stehende Engländer mit und erzählte (im humorvollen Ton), wenn das Tor nicht aufgeht wenn er den Platz verlassen will, würde er das ganze mit einer Bombe hochjagen.
DAS TOR BLIEB DIE GANZE NACHT UND DEN NÄCHSTEN TAG OFFEN.
Da der Automat ja nicht funktionierte, konnten wir leider auch nicht bezahlen

Am nächsten Tag ging es nach Besancon

Diesen Stellplatz haben wir schon einige Male besucht. Er ist nicht so leicht zu finden, da die Einfahrt über einen normalen Parkplatz geführt ist.
Eigentlich wollten wir vorher noch Dijon anfahren, aber der Stellplatz beim Campingplatz hat eine Brückendurchfahrt in genau der Höhe angegeben, wie unser Wohnmobil ist.
So ging es direkt nach Besancon

In Besancon ließ ich meinen Fotoapparat ausruhen, da wie schon beschrieben, wir nicht das erste mal diese Stadt besuchten.

Vor es in die Vulkanberge bei Clermond-Ferrand ging, wurde zur Besichtigung und Übernachtung die Stadt Chalon-sur-Saone angefahren.

Nach Chalon führte uns das Mobil über Clermond-Ferrand in die Vulkanberge des Puy de Dome

Da es diesmal der Wettergott im Moment etwas besser mit uns meinte, faßte ich den Entschluß den Berg zu "erfahren".
Früher konnte man oben auf dem Puy de Dome mit dem Wohnmobil übernachten und unten im Wald war ein Parkplatz auf dem man auch übernachten konnte.
Nun gibt es auch keine Busfahrten mehr über die Straße, sondern man kann zu Fuß oder mit der Zahnradbahn den Berg erklimmen.
Die Fahrt mit der Bahn kostet hin- und zurück 13.- € (reifere Menschen bekommen 10% Rabatt auf diese Kosten).

Salers, ein schönes altes Städtchen wird besucht und auch dort übernachtet.
Leider gab es nur Regen, ein Wechsel zwischen Regen und Starkregen.
Meisten gab es Starkregen, wenn wir nicht im Wohnmobil waren.

An jeder Ecke standen gelb bemalte Fahrräder, die an vergangene Tourteilnehmer erinnerten.

Über Aurillac ging die Fahrt nach Joffrey de Padirac.
Hier befindet sich die mir von Gerhard-Heinz empfohlene Höhle.

An der Information war ich enttäuscht, daß Fotografieren in der Höhle nicht erlaubt ist.
Ich als gut erzogener Deutscher ließ den Apparat im Mobil und besuchte diese.

Das ganze ist sehr beeindruckend - besonders daß es um mich herum blitzte und klackte - nur ich Dummi war scheinbar der einzige ohne Fotoapparat.
Deshalb: KEINE BILDER, aber die Höhle ist trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Nicht weit von Padirac befindet sich Rocamadour - an eine senkrechte Felsenwand hin gebautes Kloster.
Hier übernachteten wir oben beim Chateau.

Hier wollte ich am Nachmittag das älteste Pferderennen in Frankreich aufsuchen.
Wolkenbruchartiker Regen überzeugte mich aber, im Mobil zu bleiben.
Dieses Rennen wurde zum 378. mal veranstaltet.

bei schönem Wetter fotographieren kann jeder und zwischendurch war blauer Himmel auf den Bilder zu sehen.
