Vom 27. - 31.07.11 findet die 37. Bremerhavener Festwoche mit Deutsch-amerikanischem Freundschaftsfest, HMS "Bounty" und Hansetreffen der Koggen statt.
Der Nachbau des Vollschiffs "Bounty" aus dem berühmten Film "Meuterei auf der Bounty" mit Marlon Brando ist 54,90 m lang, 9,10 m breit, hat einen Tiefgang von 4,00 m und fährt unter amerikanischer Flagge.
